Log Chair is an exercise in functional honesty, designed to make its construction logic completely clear and visible. The concept focuses on configuring a chair using only a single geometric shape: the cylinder. Through this formal exploration, the design demonstrates how a single element can be repeated and organized to form the structure. By leaving all components and joints exposed, the piece avoids technical artifice, allowing the construction method itself to define the final form of the furniture.
The material palette relies on three repeating components: cylindrical wooden dowels for the frame, cylindrical seat pieces, and through-metal bolts that secure each intersection. To increase its versatility, the chair is available in four different color variants, allowing it to transition from warm, natural tones to more subdued and contemporary shades.
